But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
(Lev 22:20)
🌻The Lord expects us to give him our best. Whether it is in prayer or worship or giving, he expects the best from us.
🌻The sacrifices the Lord accepts are not those that are wanting or lacking. When we choose to give to God, whether it is ourselves, or the fruit of our labor, it must be the best.
🌻When we offer our sacrifice to the Lord, it is honor to him. And when God is honored, he accepts our sacrifice and his blessing flows.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your winepresses will overflow with good wine.
(Prov 3:9-10)
🌻The right sacrifice brings out the blesisng of the New Wine and brings about the overflow of the stores.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
(Rom 12:1)
🌻This means that whatever we decide to do for the Lord, it should be the best we can possibly give. Not having one foot this way and the other foot across but wholly given to him. We ought to strive for perfection and improvement where we have inefficiencies.
Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.
(Heb 12: 12 -14)
You are blessed
